A LITTLE HISTORY

In 1999 Spooky, Crook, and Thursday's Child started to mod Homeworld as "third party" modders over at the old mods.firstones.com boards. At some point we moved to a free EZBoard of our own and eventually to The Gaming Union in October 2000.

In 2002 we undertook an abortive attempt at making a mythological mod for Impossible Creatures - "Impossible Odyssey". Impossible Creatures proved to be unpopular and difficult to mod, and we abandoned the project.

The Homeworld 2 modding community has been slow to get going, mainly due to the fact that the anticipated official tools only worked with an obsolete version of Maya.
